Welcome to The Goondocks

The Goonie kids are calling you, good news we want to share.

Within our hearts of flesh and blood resides the King so fair.

He lives to bring new life to you, for Mikey, Chunk and Sloth; 

for Brand and Mouth, and Data too, the battle's being fought.

It rages on throughout this world, time's coming to an end,

The Mighty King who is so fair wants to be your friend.

You shall stand before His throne and one day bow your knee.

It is your choice today, tomorrow may not be.

That's why He sent in Eighty-Five that film to draw you near,

And though to some, it's foolishness, the Kings wants you to hear,

The Everlasting Father had planned this from the start.

He knew His Sinless Lamb would captivate your heart.

The Savior wants to bring you peace, He longs to set you free.

For all our sins, He paid the price, the cost was Calvary.

So won't you bow your head and with the Goonies pray;

Lord Jesus, come on in and wash my sins away.

Take this life of mine and mold it to Your will,

Take this empty vessel, and with Your Spirit fill.

Trust in His power today, you'll never be afraid,

To do the mighty deeds, your heart in secret prayed.

And when this life is done, we'll walk on streets of gold,

A place of awesome wonder, with joy and peace untold.

Till then, continue on, please tell the world of Christ,

And tell the hopeless ones, through Him they'll find new life.
